Who are we?

Vrinneviskolan is a relatively newly built school on the border between Hageby and Navestad, which means we are a young organization. By the start of the school year 2024, we were fully developed. We are a two-parallel F-6 school with about 280 students.

The activities at Vrinneviskolan should be characterized by safety, well-being, and joy of work, where the student is at the center. Vrinneviskolan is a school for everyone. We have an active values work based on respect and pleasant interaction. All students should feel included, and the activities should be characterized by participation.

The teaching is based on a language and knowledge-developing approach and aims to spark curiosity, foster a desire to learn, be challenging, and provide opportunities for success based on each student's conditions and needs.

Your responsibilities

As a teacher with us, you will be an important part of our students' lives and development.

In your role, you will plan and implement teaching in Swedish, Swedish as a second language, and science for middle school.

You are an inspiration for the students and support them in both their academic and personal development. Together with colleagues and support teams, you collaborate to create an inclusive and effective learning environment where all students have the opportunity to succeed.

You actively contribute to our common pursuit of continuous development by sharing your ideas and perspectives. In your work, you use digital tools to improve both teaching and students' learning.

You document students' knowledge development in the relevant system and play an important role in our common values work.

Who are you?

We are looking for a licensed teacher for grades 4–6 with subject competence in Swedish, Swedish as a second language, and science or social studies. You are well-versed in the school's governing documents and implement them in your daily work. You have experience teaching in middle school, and if you have experience working with NPF and sign language support, we see that as a positive. We would also like you to be multilingual as Vrinneviskolan is a multicultural school.

You are confident in yourself and value relational meetings with both students and colleagues. We would like you to have experience planning and adapting teaching to meet all students' needs. You have a good ability to adapt your communication based on whom you are meeting and are driven to create an inclusive and accessible learning environment.

As a true team player, you thrive in a dynamic and collective work environment where collaboration and shared responsibility are a natural part of everyday life. You are engaged and motivating, with a strong desire to develop both your students and yourself as an educator. You have an interest in outdoor education and see the value in using nature as a learning environment.
